G Interdict Folders Readme File

This zip contains a series of renamed models and an eaw_ttd.dat file, which has been modified to place groups of vehicles and other objects into the eaw world. To install in OAW unzip to the oaw folder with 'keep folder names' option ticked. To install in EAW, drag and drop the files to the eaw directory or unzip with 'keep folder names' option unticked.
These objects can be attacked and destroyed but will not show up as targets on the HUD. They appear throughout the eaw world irrespective of the position of the front lines etc. and are therefore no use in campaign settings unless the eaw_tm.dat file has been set up specifically for them. They are a way of rapidly filling the eaw world with more ground objects that are of a military flavour, since I was fed up of flying missions against the only 8 lorries moving through France!!
I should like to thank Moggy, in particular for his notes and his Dunkirk scenario, which gave me the idea to try this...
The current tiles changed in the Interdict1 EAW_TTD.dat are :
the small river bridge tile (BNrivrbr)
the T junction road tile (Bnroad10)
(more will follow)
This will work with all terrain sets based upon the default terrains and any where the bridge and T junction tile have not had the roads moved on the tile...
The current set of vehicles in this pack are for german convoys, but if you are an axis pilot you can easily replace the tanks and half tracks with lorries etc., one note here though, you will need to use Paulo Morais' re-scaler program to double the size of the target tmods to fit into this set...this is a strange anomaly with eaw...the models of the non-target items are to a different scale to the target models.
Since they replace the church, windmill, fort, and various other non military buildings, the pilot is penalised with a negative game score, by the game system when he destroys these....so, if you decide to shoot these guys up, expect an impressively negative score!!
The current models in this pack are made by Pobs, Geo and JWC and the 3d forest replacements are those of VonOben.

The slots are used as follows :
Tmod 10 was the V1 launcher........is Geos Opel Blitz lorry
Tmod23 was the Fort..................is Pobs King Tiger tank
Tmod53 was the half track...........is JWC camo halftrack (offline only)
Tmod54 was the Kubelwagen.......is JWC camo Kubelwagen (offline only)
Tmod58 was the small church .......is JWC camo halftrack
Tmod66 was the Large chateau......is Pobs Panzer III
Tmod67 was the Windmill............is JWC Kubelwagen

NB : TMOD 53/54 are placed in this pack so that offline, the moving convoys will correspond in appearance to the stationary ones.....online these models do not appear in the game.....

Cheers,

Pobs
